Greetings all. I wanted to take the time to introduce myself after our recent elections. My name is Matthew Perenzin and I have been elected to represent Gardner Youth Baseball & Softball League. We have been working diligently this off-season so we can roll out the best product possible this spring. Here are a few bullets I would like to bring to everyones attention.

•Irrigation hook-up is intended to be hooked up at Salvadore field before the end of year, this will ensure the greenest grass.

•Score board installation. We are super motivated to see our beautiful scoreboard installed ASAP. Unfortunately this job will come at a hefty price which we have been raising funds for. Something that could potentially help speed up this process, we need steel I beams, these are not cheap.

•Sponsorship renewals and new requests are currently being rolled out. Sponsor are an integral part of supporting our seasonal operations.

•Volunteers. We are looking to improve our product with the help of parents and community members. No experience necessary. Something as simple as helping us weed wack once a month gives coaches that much more time to focus on who matters most, the kids.

•Off-season clinics. Keep an eye open! We need to keep the rust away!

I have several other areas I intend to inform everyone of soon. These are some of our priorities. With that said, my main goal and objective is to make sure all of our youth has the most positive, memorable season and futures seasons. I think we can all look back at our childhood and say we remember things about our leagues we participated in. I would love to know that our fields, our grass, scoardboards, dugouts, equipment, etc. are impactful enough to keep bringing players back. Not just for years, but generations.
